Extended Practitioner Training February through June 2017

Residential Practitioner Training Winter Park 2017
Join us in the beautiful Rocky Mountains July 24 – August 5, 2016 to enjoy thirteen consecutive days of life transforming training. This program is held at the beautiful Beaver Village Condominiums in Winter Park, Colorado and allows for a complete immersion experience while enjoying the beautiful scenery of the Rocky Mountains.
Some of the NLP skills that will be covered in the training include:
Introduction to NLP – Discover what NLP is, the history behind its development, and its contributions to human change work.
Principles and Assumptions – You will be introduced to the fundamental principles, theories and assumptions utilized in the field on NLP.
Presuppositions – These are the foundational premises used in NLP that inform and expand the way we perceive our surroundings.
Behavioral Flexibility – Is the ability to adapt and change your behavior to various situations and people.
Perceptual Positions – Are ways of looking at situations from different points of view to gain additional information and insight; very useful in resolving conflicts.
New Behavior Generator – One of the many tools used in NLP to create and adapt new behavioral resources in situations where needed.
Neurological Levels – A model that looks at the interconnected aspects of environment, behavior, abilities, beliefs and values, identity, and life purpose. A powerful tool that clarifies at what level an intervention needs to be made to solve problems and have the most lasting impact.
Beliefs – Identification and transformation of limiting beliefs into empowering beliefs that aid you in reaching your objectives.
Values – Identification and clarification of your personal values to keep you motivated and aligned with what is most important to “YOU”.
Design and Achievement of Objectives – Align your goals with your higher values and create an action plan that uses an evidenced based approach to measure your progress.
NLP Communication Model – Explains how the interaction between verbal and non-verbal language, processing preferences, interpretations, thought patterns, physiology, and emotional states impact our communication and behavior.
Sensory Acuity – Increase your abilities to communicate more effectively by noticing subtle differences and changes in the visual, auditory and kinesthetic modalities expressed by others.
Representational Systems – Discover how you and others process information, learn, and communicate to improve your communication abilities.
Eye Accessing Cues – Understand how a person’s eye movements reveal their thinking strategies.
Rapport – Is the ability to create a sense of connection with other people that produces a sense of familiarity in the relationship. You will learn about sensory acuity, verbal and non-verbal language, physiology, representational systems, eye accessing cues, mirroring, and pacing and leading as tools for creating and maintaining rapport.
Verbal and Non-Verbal Language – Discover the deeper layers of communication that exist beyond the meaning of words and how we communicate much more information through the non-verbal use of our facial expressions, hand gestures, body language, and voice qualities.
Physiology – Explains the relationship between our bodies and our emotions.
Representational Systems – Learn how a person integrates and processes information and begin to create rapport by paying attention to the words they use to communicate.
Mirroring – Matching a person’s behavior to create an unconscious connection with them.
Pacing and Leading – As you develop your rapport skills, you will have the tools that will help you lead and influence others.
Resources – Identification and application of internal resources and capabilities to achieve our objectives and develop our potential.
Anchoring – Practice various techniques that consciously utilize the connections (anchors) between a stimulus (trigger) and its conditioned emotional response. You will learn ways of removing negative anchors, as well as, how to create resourceful anchors that can be applied to achieve desired results in various types of situations.
Submodalities – Modifying the qualities and structure of our internal representational systems allows us to overcome negative emotions, blocks, and obstacles that prevent us from reaching desired outcomes. Some of the submodality changing techniques you will learn include:

- The Swish Pattern
- The Fast Phobia/Trauma Process
Metaphors – Learn this powerful technique to create transformation and behavioral change through the use of stories.
Self-Hypnosis – Apply hypnosis to yourself and others in order to reach deep levels of relaxation and create behavioral change, like overcoming anxiety.
Language Patterns – You will learn how to use two of the major language models of NLP. One of these models is used to clarify communication, understand another person’s point of view, or gather information about a situation. The other language model, is useful in persuading others, and in communicating directly or indirectly with the unconscious mind of another person.
- Meta Model – Is composed of various language patterns that are based on the work of Virginia Satir and Fritz Perls.
- Milton Model – Based on the work of Milton Erikson, these hypnotic language patterns will allow you to persuade others, enhance emotional states, and communicate with the unconscious mind to affect change.
Eliciting Mental Strategies – As you integrate the NLP skills already mentioned above, you will be able decipher the unconscious strategies used to make decisions, maintain states, stay stuck in problems, or create success. With this information, you will know where and how to change these strategies so they are aligned with desired outcomes.
Learning to Learn – Experience the natural cycles of learning as you begin acquiring your NLP skills and find ways of learning more efficiently.
Reframing – This skill will allow you to change the emotional charge of situations or the way they are perceived in your daily interactions.
Negotiation – Gain the skills to reach agreement in seemingly impossible situations.
Parts Model – Identification and resolution of internal conflicts by reintegrating opposing parts at the unconscious level. You will practice techniques like:

Timeline – Neutralize negative emotions and beliefs learned in past situations. Program your mind to achieve your goals and outcomes by using future timelines.
Eye Movement Integration (EMI) – We will demonstrate the powerful and easy process that immediately reduces stress and increases creative thinking. You will learn to make this exercise a part of your self-management routine.
Ego States – Learn to identify and avoid codependent patterns by identify the modes used to interact with others such as, Parent, Adult and Child modes. You will be able to predict someone’s response based on the modes used during communication and how to respond in a resourceful way.

The Extended Practitioner Program is held takes place at our Cherry Creek office in Denver, Colorado. This format allows nearby residents to attend the training without missing any work. Cherry Creek offers many wonderful restaurants.
